शाह वंश
Shah Dynasty of Nepal
The dynasty that built Nepal: out of the small hill kingdom of Gorkha, Prithvi Narayan Shah carved a single state between Himalaya and India, and his heirs ruled it for 240 years. It ended not by conquest but by ballot — on 28 May 2008 the Constituent Assembly voted the monarchy out of existence and proclaimed a republic.
नेपाल बनाउने वंश: गोरखाको सानो पहाडी राज्यबाट पृथ्वीनारायण शाहले हिमालय र भारतबीच एक नेपाल खडा गरे, र उनका वंशजले २४० वर्ष शासन गरे। यो वंश विजयले होइन, मतले ढालियो — २८ मे २००८ मा संविधानसभाले राजतन्त्र अन्त्य गरी गणतन्त्र घोषणा गर्यो।
